Nanette was born in Racine, Wisconsin. Her father served as a pastor throughout her childhood and still pastors Sherwood Bible Church here in Kansas City, Missouri. She is the oldest of 5 children and is proud of the native American Indian heritage of her father. As a result of being raised in a pastor's family, Nanette is married to Brian Flynn and they love spending time with their children Crysti Miller (husband Tristan) and Chad and their cat, poodle and 5 horses.
Nanette has lived in 8 different states and has traveled extensively throughout the world. She currently works as an International Life/Business/Intervention Coach from her home base office in Kansas City. Nanette's strong belief in being able to push through problems and see them as possibilities started very early in her career as she has always had a strong desire to work with and love people.
Nanette received her degree in elementary education from John Brown University and taught school for 14 years. During this time she became a Missouri Mentor Teacher through UMKC , wrote a classroom management curriculum called B.E.S.T.(Boundaries with Empathy bring Solutions and Trust), spoke at an International Teachers Convention and worked to develop behavioral plans for children at risk. She also spoke and taught her curriculum at several area school in-service training seminars.
In 2006 Nanette, along with her husband, founded Abundant Life Ranch, a non profit charity that does intervention and restoration of women in crisis.
Nanette continued her mentoring and coaching after leaving the education system and being employed by a professional sports team to work with their cheerleaders and develop a successful youth program. She did this for 11 years and began her own Professional Coaching business, Destined 2 Win LLC, during that time. In 2012-2013 she developed D2W's Leadership Curriculum and taught the first fall and spring semester courses.
Nanette also is the founded a non profit charity called Abundant Life Ranch that works with young women in crisis and works alongside several organizations that work to educate the public and put a stop to Domestic Minor Sex Trafficking. She was invited to participate in a caucus in Washington DC, last December and continues to work to provide much needed restoration to sex trafficked victims and their families.
Nanette is a sought after motivational speaker and has participated in many conferences and an annual Women's Conference that she sponsors in KC called, Tell Me I'm Beautiful.
Nanette has or currently is coaching clients in Brazil, New Zealand, Canada, United Kingdom, Jordan, Australia, Ireland and throughout the United States. She has continued her education as a Master Life Coach and is Certified in Strategy, Accountability, Time Management, Intervention and Assessment.
